What do you like most about your job?

Actually, the most fascinating thing about my profession is the incredible complexity of human existence. In my work as a general practitioner, I juggle human tragedy, high-tech medicine and simple humanity on a daily basis.

What is your favourite thing to do away from the daily routine of the practice?

I love to be in nature and by the sea and enjoy the vastness and tranquility.

What do you particularly like about Hamburg?

As a Southern German, I have fallen in love with Hamburg. I especially like the cosmopolitan and queer life in all its diversity.
